A trading terminal
built for practice.
GraniteClarity puts five markets on one screen, Crypto, FX, Metals, Indices and Stocks, and lets you work through spot orders, leveraged futures, IPO subscriptions and savings terms with virtual funds. Every instrument is fictional, every price comes from an engine running on the device, and nothing connects to a real market, so you can place the trade, watch what happens and try again.
Five tabs, one practice venue.
Each tab is a room in the same building. Cash moves between them instantly, and everything you do is recorded in a single ledger on your phone.
Bento dashboard
Total equity across the three accounts, a tile for every board with its top movers, the event calendar, the offerings board, and your practice streak with badges.
Five boards, 27 fictional instruments
Watchlist, search and sort. Each asset opens to a candlestick chart with 1m to 1D timeframes, MA7 and MA25, volume, a hold-to-read cursor, the time and sales tape, board events and your exposure.
IPO board and Savings
Eight fictional companies list on a fixed calendar with an offer sheet, lot size, allotment ratio and lockup, then trade on the Stocks board. Savings pairs a flexible account with 7, 30 and 90 day fixed terms.
- Subscribe in lots, receive an allotment
- Interest accrues on virtual cash
- Early redemption returns principal only
Three accounts, one report
Spot, Futures and Savings with instant transfers. Holdings, positions, orders and history, plus an equity curve, win rate, average gain and loss, maximum drawdown and results by board.
- Export and import a JSON backup
- Clear history, keep open items
- Reset to a starting tier
30 lessons, 44 terms
Seven modules, from using the terminal and market basics and spot orders to leverage, the IPO process, savings and compounding, and risk management. Each lesson links to the feature it explains.
Twelve badges and a daily practice streak mark your progress.
Every board has its own character.
Volatility, spread, event types and leverage caps differ by board. The names are invented and were checked against real companies, currencies, metals, indices and tokens.

Simple rules, shown in full.
The same rules are printed inside the app under Venue rules, so nothing about a fill, a fee or a liquidation is a surprise.
Accounts
Three virtual accounts: Spot, Futures and Savings. Cash moves between them instantly and without fees. The only way to add funds is to reset the practice account to one of four starting tiers, from $10,000 to $250,000.
Spot
Market orders fill at once, buys at the ask and sells at the bid. Limit orders reserve cash or holdings and fill when the mark reaches the limit price. A 0.10% fee is charged on every fill.
Futures
Isolated-margin linear USD contracts on every board asset, long or short, with leverage from 1x up to the board cap. A 0.05% fee applies on open and close, maintenance margin is 0.50%, take-profit and stop-loss trigger at the mark, and crossing the liquidation price closes the position and forfeits its margin.
IPO board
Each fictional offering publishes its offer price, lot size, lot range, allotment ratio and four dates. Requests are held from Spot cash during the window, allotment follows the published ratio, unused cash returns, and allotted shares trade on the Stocks board once the lockup ends.
Savings
Flexible Savings accrues continuously at 3.2% APY and can be redeemed at any time. Fixed terms of 7, 30 and 90 days pay 5.0%, 6.5% and 8.0% APY at maturity. Redeeming a fixed term early returns the principal only. All interest is virtual practice cash.
Short answers.
Is this real trading?
No. GraniteClarity is a simulator. The instruments are fictional, the prices are generated by an engine on your phone, and the balances are virtual practice funds with no monetary value. There is no brokerage connection, no order routing and no way to move value in or out of the app.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no registration, login, email or identity check. Open the app, read the one-screen welcome, and the practice venue is ready with a starting balance.
Where does the data live?
On your device. The ledger is a JSON file in the app's own Documents folder, and a few preferences are stored alongside it. You can export the ledger as a backup file and import it again; those files stay wherever you choose to save them. See the privacy policy for details.
Does it cost anything?
No. The app is free, has no in-app purchases, no subscriptions, no ads and no paid features. Words such as Savings, Fixed Term, IPO and Subscribe describe simulated practice concepts, not products you pay for.
